Wave & Shore

Antalya Aquatic CenterAntalya Harbor, Turkey2026

01

Wave & Shore is an aquatic center shaped by two architectural languages — fluid sea-facing form and solid city-facing order — at Antalya Harbor.

This contrast mirrors the natural interaction between water and land: just as waves shape the shoreline, architecture is shaped by that interplay.

Concept

Wave: fluid, organic, and harmonized with nature — applied to sea-facing façades and the circulation axis between buildings and water. Shore: solid, rigid, and urban — defining city-facing façades and urban paths. A linear spine organizes the campus: the sea side remains open and permeable; the city side holds enclosed volumes for sport, lodging, and rehabilitation.

02

Context

Set at Antalya Harbor, the campus binds aquatic program, athletes’ village, guesthouse, rehabilitation, and public access into one shoreline sequence. Program bands run with the waterline so swimming, recovery, and civic life read as a continuous coastal landscape.
